Review: Meteorological Technology World Expo 2025 in Vienna

The Meteorological Technology World Expo2025 was a resounding success for Thies CLIMA, with more discussions, contacts, and professional exchanges than ever before. Visitors showed great interest in our compact weather stations, whose multitude of functions and precise sensor technology in a very small space impressed many visitors. Another highlight was the first public presentation of our new precipitation sensor with a combined tipping bucket and droplet measurement method, which combines fast response and highly accurate intensity/quantity measurement even with low precipitation. Another particular focus was the Precipitation Analyzer for detecting freezing precipitation and weather conditions, which guests aptly christened “the pyramid” due to its shape. We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone involved and to the trade fair management for the excellent organization.
See you next time – you can already look forward to our new products in Amsterdam. Mark your calendars now: October 6-8, 2026, RAI, Amsterdam.
