Collecting weather data where fruit grows.

Thies CLIMA was represented with the WSC Agrar weather station at the Field and Technology Day held at the ESTEBURG Fruit Growing Center in Jork. We took the opportunity to speak with practitioners and scientists about the requirements for weather data in fruit growing. The WSC Agrar not only provides a comprehensive overview of local weather conditions as an all-in-one compact weather station, but is also suitable as a weather sensor in integrated solutions for agricultural technology, plant breeding, and sensor technology. At the event, our colleague Florian Thies presented the WSC Agrar as a complete solution with a connected soil moisture sensor (Climavi by AGVOLUTION)—including the integrated cloud solution and app. We’d like to say thank you for the keen interest and all the valuable insights!
