    The instrument serves for the acquisition of the illumination intensity of the daylight, depending on the position of the sun.

    • angle-dependent
    • 8 sectors
    The illumination intensity is acquired by eight independent photo diodes, which are arranged
    in 45°-segments. (N, NE,E, SE, S, SW, W, NW ).
    The connected electronics converts the light into voltage signals and provides them for further processing to the 8 individual outputs.
    The model with “heating“ avoids a possible dewing on the dome.
