VeLiS: Development of a Modular LiDAR System for Wind Measurement

Thies CLIMA, in collaboration with the Laser Zentrum Hannover e. V. (LZH), is developing a novel LiDAR system for non-contact wind measurement. The VeLiS research project is investigating a modular system architecture. The project is funded as part of the Innovation Promotion Program for Research and Development in Companies (IFP) with funds from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the State of Lower Saxony.
