Devices – Sunshine Duration Sensor, Brightness Transmitterr, Pyranometer etc.
The THIES delivery program comprises several sensors for the measurement of sun radiation. By means of these sensors not only the radiation from the sun can be measured but also other important parameters, such as reflected and diffuse radiation. Electronic measuring instruments acquire the radiation by different measuring elements. Low-priced silicon sensors are used as well as high-quality temperature sensors that meets highest requirements.
A field of its own in the area of radiation measurement is the brightness measurement. The brightness measurement is adapted to the human eye, and is often used with building automation.
